How It All Began

Pet Friendly Journeys comes from the experience of aliveXperiences, a premier boutique operator specialized in customized trips to Europe.

As dog owners, it all started when we took our pets on vacation and realized that no tours or special services were really "dog friendly". Finding a tour where we could take our dogs or having special meals for our animals or visiting museums was all too complicated...once back, Pet Friendly Journeys started!

We developed a tour with the dog needs and the dog owner's fun in mind.
As European natives we bring decades of expertise in developing vacations where you can explore and experience the local traditions and life.
